With the closing of the University of Waterloo campus for Spring 2020 semester, our programming has gone completely virtual! Although we can’t meet in person, we will still offer the same level of support for entrepreneurial students, with some new twists and changes.
Our virtual spring programming will consist of:
Attend our virtual intro sessions to learn about entrepreneurship, get a glimpse into the world of startups, build new skills, and engage with the Concept community!
Dive deeper into intro session content with a smaller group to explore ideas, engage in discussions, and work closer with Concept Coaches. Note: These invite only sessions are available after attending intro sessions.
Every week our Programs Lead will be online every Thursday at 1:00pm to answer any questions you may have about Concept! You can’t pop into our office to ask questions anymore, but this is the next best thing!
Meet with our experienced Concept Coaches to discuss your projects, startup ideas, and all things entrepreneurship!
The Concept $5K pitch competition will be completely virtual! Apply with your startup idea to compete with other UWaterloo Students to win a $5K Grant to help turn your concept into a reality.
eEDGE is an opportunity for you to take action and explore the potential of your idea to be turned into a viable service or product that will positively impact our society. eEDGE experiences count towards the work and community milestones for the EDGE certificate.
In the face of this global crisis, the entrepreneurial community at UWaterloo is joining forces to help students tackle problems brought on by this pandemic. The Pandemic Challenge will allow you to explore the potential of your idea to influence policy changes, found a startup, or create a social venture.
